A Message From The Owners

Dear Beer Engine Guests,

We all know that these are sensitive times that we are all living in. Our Beer Engine family has been trying its best as well to work to take care of our guests. With this in mind we ask that you bear with us as we all try and deal with the challenges that we continue to face as a result of the pandemic. We like others are faced with staffing shortages as well as supply shortages…

At first it was hand sanitizers and paper supplies, then chicken wings, pickles and other items that we offer to our guests. As of late our suppliers are having difficulty in delivering ketchup, due to the shortage of plastic for bottling and other goods.

We are anxious to see the aftermath of this all behind us. For now we ask you for your continued patience and want to express a sincere thank you for supporting us over the past year…

We give a great deal of credit to our Beer Engine family for being there, and keeping this little engine going day after day and keeping up with every change and nuance that had occurred for all of us.

We were all ready to celebrate with you last year and then…shutdown city. But we are back and ready to make this year memorable!

We will have Guinness and Irish Coffee to start your day proper. (If you really want a kick, try our Wake Up Call – Irish Cream, Van Gogh Double Espresso, and Habañero bitters.)

• Corned Beef & Cabbage – thinly sliced, juicy corned beef with house made cabbage and red-skinned potatoes. 12.5

• Corned Beef Reuben – half pound juicy stacked corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island on grilled caraway rye bread, served with house-made chips. 16.25

• Corned Beef Sandwich – half pound juicy stacked corned beef on grilled caraway rye bread, served with a side of whole-grain beer mustard house-made chips. 14.75

The post you’ve been waiting for…..
BEER ENGINE IS OPENING MAY 18th!!
We will be offering carry-out service (including beer and cocktails!) and seating on our patio.
We’ve missed all of you and are excited to see your faces! We have the greatest customers, and because we care about your well-being and safety, you will see some changes when you visit. Thanks in advance for your PATIENCE AND FLEXIBILITY as we work through some new practices and procedures.
We don’t take your health or the health of our staff lightly. The hours we’ve spent figuring out how to make this work is worth it for you to know we are doing our best.
That said, here are just a few things you will see:
– Masks for all staff.
– Staff member’s temperature taken and a health assessment performed upon entering building.
– Compartmentalized duties and designated staff for “clean” duties (food handling) and “dirty duties” (touching a dirty plate) to avoid cross contamination.
– New layout to comply with 6′ distancing.
– Empty tables – condiments upon request.
– Menus sanitized after every touch.
– Hourly alarms which will signify a restaurant sanitation to all high-touch surfaces.
– Replacement of all filters in heating and cooling system.
– A new dedicated phone line to text customers when their carryout orders and/or tables are ready to prevent crowding.
– Curbside service available upon request.
– And coming soon…on-line ordering and touch-free payments.
OUR HOURS WILL BE:
Sunday – Thursday, 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Friday – Saturday, 10:00 am – 11:00 pm
Again, we appreciate your understanding if it takes an extra moment or two to serve you. We know it is cliche’ at this point to say “We are in this together” but truly; you have stood by us, been loyal and supportive and we could not be more grateful.
