Pressed Flower Pumpkins

Come and join us for a fun night of pumpkin painting (and drinking!) at the Buckeye Beer Engine!

Our local artist will provide hands-on instruction and all the supplies you need to create your own pressed-flower masterpiece.

We will provide a delicious seasonal beer you can sip while you let your imagination run wild and craft a one-of-a-kind pumpkin which will grace your home for years. Or, make one as a gift for someone truly special!

This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to show off your artistic skills while enjoying some great company, music, and of course, beer! Our full menu will be available as well.

Limited tickets available. Click here to get yours:  Pressed Flower Pumpkins

You can’t drink all day unless you start in the morning! The unofficial close to Cleveland Beer Week. We heard some of you complain that last year’s Big Ass Beer Brunch didn’t have enough barrel-aged goodies (yes, actual complaints), so we’re going ALL Barrel Aged this year. Some of the highest rated beers from some of our favorite breweries will be tapped, including beers never seen before in Ohio! For the INCREDIBLE beer line up – click here: BARRELAGEDBRUNCH

The unofficial kickoff to Cleveland Beer Week! Overnight fresh oysters, shucked to order and paired with some of the finest beers from the East Coast. This is an ALL-DAY event starting at 10am. Click here for details and featured beers of the day: OYSTERFEST

Our Monday Burger & Beer Night special gets an upgrade for Cleveland Beer Week! Try a Monk Burger, featuring our signature Ohio beef patty topped with house-made bacon jam, arugula, and melted Chimay Première cheese. Pair it with a glass of Chimay draft beer for only $15. Take home your chalice for only $5 more with 100% of proceeds going to charity!

Featured draft beers from Chimay:

Grande Réserve (Blue)
Première (Red)

Featured bottled beers from Chimay:

Cent Cinquante (Green)
Cinq Cents  (White)
Grande Réserve Barrel Fermented (Oak Barrel-Aged)

Burger & Beer special available 6-10pm. No reservations. First come, first served. Details subject to change.

We open our Lambic cellar for 1 night a year from 6-10pm. 5oz pours of select Lambics, exclusive bottles available for in-house consumption, and a tapping of a keg we thought we’d never see. This is your opportunity to try some very special Belgian beers. A Cleveland Beer Week staple event.

Featured draft beers:

Cantillon Fou’Foune (Apricot)
Tilquin Myrtille Sauvage (Blueberry)

5oz bottle pours available á la carte from 6-10pm. Available while supplies last. Bottles available for in-house consumption only. No takeaway sales. Kegs to be tapped at 6pm. Details subject to change.

Join us July 10-16 for Cleveland Burger Week. We will be featuring the All-American Burger: our signature third-pound, chargrilled Ohio beef patty topped with melted
American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. House-made black bean patty substitution available (vegetarian).

Join us on Thursday, June 29th from 6:30-8pm for a guided tasting of beers from Ayinger Privatbrauerei with export manager Stefan Ibler.

A $30 ticket gets you samples of 5 Ayinger beers and an accompanying charcuterie spread including meat and cheese from our friends at Ohio City Provisions.

A Message From The Owners

June 11, 2021

Dear Beer Engine Guests,

We all know that these are sensitive times that we are all living in. Our Beer Engine family has been trying its best as well to work to take care of our guests. With this in mind we ask that you bear with us as we all try and deal with the challenges that we continue to face as a result of the pandemic. We like others are faced with staffing shortages as well as supply shortages…

At first it was hand sanitizers and paper supplies, then chicken wings, pickles and other items that we offer to our guests. As of late our suppliers are having difficulty in delivering ketchup, due to the shortage of plastic for bottling and other goods.

We are anxious to see the aftermath of this all behind us. For now we ask you for your continued patience and want to express a sincere thank you for supporting us over the past year…

We give a great deal of credit to our Beer Engine family for being there, and keeping this little engine going day after day and keeping up with every change and nuance that had occurred for all of us.

Thank you,

Renee Tyler & Peter Stancato

Reopening Update

May 19, 2020
The post you’ve been waiting for…..
We will be offering carry-out service (including beer and cocktails!) and seating on our patio.
We’ve missed all of you and are excited to see your faces! We have the greatest customers, and because we care about your well-being and safety, you will see some changes when you visit. Thanks in advance for your PATIENCE AND FLEXIBILITY as we work through some new practices and procedures.
We don’t take your health or the health of our staff lightly. The hours we’ve spent figuring out how to make this work is worth it for you to know we are doing our best.
That said, here are just a few things you will see:
– Masks for all staff.
– Staff member’s temperature taken and a health assessment performed upon entering building.
– Compartmentalized duties and designated staff for “clean” duties (food handling) and “dirty duties” (touching a dirty plate) to avoid cross contamination.
– New layout to comply with 6′ distancing.
– Empty tables – condiments upon request.
– Menus sanitized after every touch.
– Hourly alarms which will signify a restaurant sanitation to all high-touch surfaces.
– Replacement of all filters in heating and cooling system.
– A new dedicated phone line to text customers when their carryout orders and/or tables are ready to prevent crowding.
– Curbside service available upon request.
– And coming soon…on-line ordering and touch-free payments.
Sunday – Thursday, 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Friday – Saturday, 10:00 am – 11:00 pm
Again, we appreciate your understanding if it takes an extra moment or two to serve you. We know it is cliche’ at this point to say “We are in this together” but truly; you have stood by us, been loyal and supportive and we could not be more grateful.
See you soon!!
